The Ruben Ramos/Liberty Band concert on March 4th was a HUGE success. Big, BIG shouts to Rick Canez & everyone at L.E.G Promotions for putting on a fantastic show.

The Liberty Band was great, Ruben was in rare form and the Corona Ranch was the perfect venue for that type of show! According to the L.E.G Promotions website, 800+ Tejano loving fans attended the event and I have no doubts that all 800+ had a great time. Que se oye un grito!!

Grupo Control & Liitle Joe Headline Pinal County Fair

Grupo Control & Little Joe will spotlight this years Pinal County Fair. Grupo Control will take the stage on Saturday & Little Joe will take the stage on Sunday.

Grupo Control “put on an incredible concert last year and we are very excited to have them back,” says Michael Searle, Entertainment Coordinator.

And while the Pinal County Fair is celebrating it's 50th year this celebration would not be complete without Little Joe, who by the way is also celebrating his 50th year in the music business! He will be taking the stage on Sunday. All concerts are free with paid fair admission.

Is Jay "The Voice" Perez Coming To Arizona?

Tour dates on Jay's website indicate two tour stops in Arizona. One is April 21st in Quechan Paradise Casino & the other is April 22nd in Tolleson.

The versatile Jay Perez, known to his fans as "The Voice," keeps making fresh, modern Tejano and regional Mexican music without slavishly following trends.

Born and based in San Antonio, Texas, Jay offers 13 top-notch tracks on his latest studio set, "MI DESTINO." The album features the conjunto-flavored title track, plenty of Jay's soulful rancheras, three cumbias, and a few surprises. His brassy Tejano reworking of the 1981 Tierra hit "Together" is sure to be a crowd favorite, and he also belts out a corrido and a regret-filled country ballad with the emotion of someone who's experienced life's ups and downs.
